Irving Chung is a marketing professional with over 20 years of experience. As a native New Yorker Irving has the unique distinction of actually starting his career in advertising on Madison Avenue. Throughout his career, he has worked at several of the top global advertising agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Saatchi & Saatchi and Ammirati Lintas developing advertising for blue-chip companies such as Coca-Cola, Proctor & Gamble and AT&T.  He continued to expand his career by moving to San Francisco to work for more creative boutiques agencies such as Foote Cone & Belding and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.  Irving's most famous claims to fame are the development of the original "Got Milk?" campaign and ice skating with Olympic gold medalist Katarina Witt (not at the Olympics but on a commercial set for Diet Coke). Irving has also held senior marketing positions as the VP of Marketing for several high technology companies, was a virtual millionaire during the "internet boom" and had his own marketing consulting business. Irving started his creative education by attending the famous High School of Art & Design in NYC.  He graduated from Colgate University with a BA degree in Economics and minor in Computer Sciences. He is married and has three boys: Daniel, Nicholas and Matthew.  His wife Melissa is a native Wisconsinite.

Kim M. Lothe, brings over 15 years of Advertising experience to the AAF Board which she had previously served six years and for the past seven years has owned and operated, KMR Media Partners, Inc., specializing in Media Buying, Public Relations, Marketing Strategies and Promotions for many local and regional companies.
 
In addition, KMR Media Partners, Inc. handles the event planning of popular local event and trade shows like Lifestyles Show, Business Women's Expo, Greater Madison Golf Show, Mad City Men's Expo, Great Midwest Horse Fair and Madison Advertising Federation's Awards Event, as well as assisting philanthropically with Public Relations for many local charity events.  She also conducts public speaking seminars on Generational Marketing and How to Work effectively with an Advertising Agency. 
 
On her off business time Kimmer spends time volunteering on the M.A.T.C.
Executive Marketing Board, Ronald McDonald House of Madison Marketing Committee, Dane Buy Local Marketing Committee, Madison Originals Marketing and supports many local charities. She loves to run and often competes in local running events.  She also plays golf and spends time with her wonderful husband Patrick and her many friends.

Andrea Barber is the owner and lead alchemist of Apothecary, a full-service marketing communications firm based in Madison, WI.  Apothecary taps into an expansive network of seasoned marketing professionals with experience in a wide range of industries.  Andrea Barber, as always, "brings the awesome" to each project in which she is involved.  She has been active in the Madison advertising community for more than fifteen years through her work at Zillman Advertising, Bensman Advertising and Waldbillig & Besteman.  Additionally, Andrea is involved with the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland Chapter and her precious daughter's brownie troop.  When she isn't working, Andrea can be found running about with her wonderful husband, Dave, and the aforementioned child.

Cynthia Everhart is the Marketing Strategist and Owner of Twist Communications, LLC.  Focusing on marketing strategy and brand development, Cynthia directs teams of subcontractors to assist with implementing marketing plans designed to meet her clients long and short term business goals and objectives.  Twist Communications began in 2003 and has worked with a variety clientele including Coldwell Banker Success, Energy Tech Solutions, LLC, hillcraft, City of Monona and more. Prior to that, Cynthia headed up the Web Development division at another local branding firm, was on the start-up and management teams for onlinemadison.com, Madison.com, Channel3000.com and TheMilwaukeeChannel.com.Cynthia has been on the Board of Directors for AAF Madison since 2001, Chaired the ADDYs for 6 years, assisted with various AAF Committees and Volunteer opportunities, been on the AAF Executive Board for 3 years and has been a member of AAF Madison since 1995.

Candace is a 1996 Journalism and Communications Arts graduate of the University of Wisconsin.  Candace has been with Kennedy Communications for 13 years.  At Kennedy, Candace acts as account executive on several major clients and also as media director on other key accounts.  She has been an active member of AAF-Madison for 13 years and is a former board member.  Candace has also served on the leadership team of the Junior League of Madison.  Outside of work, Candace loves traveling, playing tennis, running and spending time with her 6-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son.  Candace is also a devout Parrothead and loves the Badgers!

Karen Lange currently holds a very rewarding position as a Career Services Specialist at Herzing University.  She moved to the Madison area after obtaining her Master's degree from UW-Platteville in Counselor Education- Higher Education.  Karen's main focus is working with students and graduates to help them gain the skills needed to be personally and professionally successful.  She also works very closely with Graphic Design and Game Development students as the main contact in Career Services.  Karen is an Ambassador for the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Madison Jaycees.  She is looking forward to another great year on the AAF Madison board!

Danny Mager grew up on the Jersey Shore and came to Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin in 1983.  Upon graduating with a B.A. in History in May 1987, Danny's first job was an LTE position with the State Department of Health producing a physician recruitment video to attract graduating medical students across the country to practice in Wisconsin.  In 1988, Danny co-founded a publishing company specializing in niche publications for the real estate industry that grew into Wisconsin's leading residential rental guide and web site.  In this capacity, Danny conducted the start-up and management of all operations of publishing offices in Madison, Milwaukee and Appleton, and gained extensive understanding of what it takes to both sell and produce effective advertising.  In 2004, Danny joined Staples Marketing as a principal with the agency and is now co-owner with Creative Director Steve Stocker.  As Agency Principal - Marketing Director, Danny serves as account supervisor on all agency accounts, as well as oversees all operations.  Based in a 5700 sq. ft. office condo in Pewaukee, Staples Marketing has accounts in the Milwaukee and Madison markets in addition to New York, Chicago and California.  Danny lives on the near east side of Madison with his wife, three daughters, and Norwegian Forest Cat.  Although he's now lived in Wisconsin for more than half his life, Danny continues to be an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants.  Please don't hold that against him.

Prior to starting TMA+Peritus in 1983, Tom was the Vice President of Marketing and Advertising for Bally Corporation in Chicago, Illinois. He was also President of Bally's multi-million dollar in-house ad agency FFC Advertising. While there, Tom was responsible for all marketing and public relations activities for Bally's Video, Video Arcade and Aladdin's Castle Divisions. Tom has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from the Claremont Colleges in Claremont, California, and graduated from Franklin University in Lugano, Switzerland from their English Working Class Writers Workshop. TMA+Peritus has offices in Madison and Wausau and is a Branding, Content Marketing and Web Development agency that has worked on a wide variety of brands including McDonalds, Bombardier, Foot Locker, American Family Insurance, First Business Bank,  Eastbay, President Cheeses, Lactalis, Wisconsin Potato Growers, Lincoln Logs and Baxter Pharmaceuticals.

Michelle Pullara hails from a small town in northern Wisconsin and came to Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art and Graphic Design, she started full time with First Business Financial Services, Inc., where she had also completed an internship.  Michelle has been working with First Business for the past four years as a Graphic Designer, but wears many hats and enjoys the variety in her position. In addition to her graphic design responsibilities, she works with the Marketing team planning, strategizing, event coordinating, and copywriting. Michelle also free-lances for Paradyme Productions creating CD layouts and designs, and designs the occasional wedding stationery in her spare time. Michelle is involved with the United Way of Dane County and is also a member of the United Way Rosenberry Society.  Michelle and her husband enjoy Madison and live on the east side.

William Schrack is the President/CEO of Target Marketing Solutions, a second generation agency offering tangible and cost effective ways to increase client’s business profits, based in North Barrington, Illinois. Under Bill’s direction, Target Marketing Solutions acquired Sales & Marketing Solutions Inc, Solo Values Direct Response LLC,  Valpak of Madison,  Valpak of Southeast Wisconsin  and Valpak of Northern Illinois.  Some of America’s best-known local and national brands (e.g. Allstate, ADT Home Security, Wisconsin Bar Association, The Melting Pot, Valvoline Instant Oil Change Centers, Rainbow Play Systems, Omaha Steaks, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Landry’s Seafood House and The Chart House restaurants) use at least one of Target Marketing Solutions’ subsidiaries for direct response marketing. Before taking the helm at Target Marketing Solutions, Bill  gained a wealth of experience on the street with Bristol Myers-Squibb, Franklin Covey and Cox Target Media. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and attended graduate school at University of California – Berkley and University of South Florida. Bill is a member of the Board of Directors of Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin, the Communications Advisory Board of the Boy Scouts of America and is a licensed commercial pilot and paramedic/firefighter. He is married and has two children attending UW – Madison.

Bob Vanden Burgt is the Principal and Co-Owner of Yahara Software, LLC in Madison.  Prior to Yahara Software, Bob was a member of the executive management team of Electronic Theatre Controls in Madison for more than 15 years.  He is a 1984 graduate of Saint Norbert College and in his spare time enjoys his family, theatre, live audio design & recording, running, cycling and wine.  Bob serves as the President Elect to the Madison South Rotary as well as the board for the Construction Resource Network and the Wisconsin High Tech Happy Hour.
