Wanna be a star?
Start thinking ADDY entries, and start thinking big. The 62nd annual ADDY Awards Show will be held on Saturday, February 21, at the
ever-ADDY-lovin' Monona Terrace.
So what's different this year? Ahem. Watch for more information-a lot more-to come, but here's a teaser. Think party. Big party.
Cool party. Fun party. And think mingle, admire, and show off your work. Think: "See peers I haven't seen in a while." Think: "See
what everyone else is working on." Think: "I'm a winner."
We'll fill you in on the details later, because there are lots of them. But for now, think about your best work this year. We have
a sneakin' suspicion that some agencies we haven't seen for a while may show up. And you're going to want to be there and show off
your best.
And if you haven't thought ADDYs in a while, think about this. After the show last year, Campbell LaCoste took some Madison-winning
work national, and came in Silver. So there they were, nationwide winners, smack in the midst of the likes of the biggest agency names
in the country. Talk about winning big.
So. Wanna be a star? Start thinking ADDYs.
We need bodies and brains to help pull off the show. Jump in! Email Co-chairs Liz Stroud, liz@jargonmarketing.com or Rico Goedjen, ricog@msn.econoprint.com to get involved and have some fun.

A Message from our President, Tom Keeler - October 2008
Every election season, retail advertising takes a back seat to the barrage of political advertising that fills
the airwaves with messages designed to influence a voter’s perception of a particular issue or candidate. The
onslaught of campaign messages can be seen and heard everywhere now from broadcast TV and radio, cable, print,
outdoor, on-line, as well as other emerging media including mobile.
