AAF Madison is committed to the development of the advertising, marketing and communications community in the greater Madison area. Our members represent a wide range of responsibilities within agencies, suppliers, corporations and other interested organizations. To fulfill our mission we offer a wide range of educational, networking and social opportunities for our members and guests. Among the benefits we provide are the following:

Did you know….Seventy Percent of the United States economy is driven by consumer spending. It follows then that producing demand for products and services through advertising is essential for driving our economy. A consumer cannot purchase a product if they don't even know it exists. Ensuring those advertising messages remain ethical, targeted, entertaining, and accurate falls to those in the industry.  Professional associations like AAF allow for professional development with those who work in the industry. Through seminars, presentations at regular meetings and networking and idea sharing those in the industry grow in their craft.

It doesn't stop there; the American Advertising Awards celebrates the work of the industry. This allows business leaders become acquainted with best practices in advertising for future adoption.  And like any responsible organization, AAF focuses on recruiting and training future workers in the business. Through the support of AD 2 Madison, The National Student Advertising Competition and scholarships provided annually by the Madison Advertising Federation Foundation, AAF is reaching out to the next generation to ensure there remains a steady flow of new people and new thinking in the industry.

Many in the ad community donate their time and talent to create campaigns that are essential for the many non-profits in the area who are looking for recognition of their mission. Through public service announcements created by AAF members and media outlets, the public becomes aware of how they can help their communities assist all levels of society.
